Dr. Christopher Dibble earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He complete residency in Internal Medicine at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Following residency, Dr. Dibble pursued a combine fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care. He received his cardiovascular training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship and advanced training in pulmonary vascular disease and cardiac imaging were completed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. During his fellowship years, he earned a Master’s degree focused on clinical cardiovascular epidemiology from the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Dibble is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Pulmonary Disease. He holds additional board certification in Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, and Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Dibble joined Cardiology Associates of Schenectady in 2012. He created the first program in the region for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with pulmonary hypertension. He is a member of the Ellis Hospital PERT team.
In addition to his superlative knowledge, compassion and clinical skill, Dr. Dibble has been recognized to be one of the top local authorities in pulmonary hypertension and a gifted teacher. Dr. Dibble was responsible for creating and running the very successful monthly valve conferences at Ellis Hospital.
Cardiology Associates has always led practices in the region with their information technology program. Dr. Dibble has been the medical director of IT at Cardiology Associates since 2015.
