Dr. Frederick “Rick” Wiese grew up in Scotia, the son of a family physician. He attending Albany Medical College followed by training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Dr. Wiese practiced cardiology for many years in Keane, New Hampshire. In 2000, joined Cardiology Associates to become the first full time cardiologist in their Gloversville office. Dr. Wiese, an experienced clinician also performed pacemaker implantations and echocardiography. His was known to pay close attention to every detail of his patients lives and how that impacted their health.
Dr. Wiese retired from Cardiology Associates in 2015.
