Dr. Coleman received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College of Engineering followed by graduate work in engineering at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn. He worked for several years as an analytical engineer for Grumman Aerospace and Electronics Group.
He received his Medical Degree at State University of New York at Stony Brook where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his internship and residency at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, New York and his Cardiology Fellowship at Albany Medical College.
Dr. Coleman began working for Cardiology Associates as a night hospitalist in 2003. In 2005 he joined the group. Dr. Coleman has had a strong presence in the care of patients at Ellis Hospital. In addition to his practice at Balltown Road, Dr. Coleman developed and grew Cardiology Associates’ practice in Guilderland.
In addition to Dr. Coleman’s superlative clinical skills he has expertise in nuclear cardiology, trans – thoracic, trans – esophageal and stress echocardiography.
