Dr. Mark Jordan, a Burnt Hills native, earned his bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Binghamton. He studied medicine at Brown Unviversity followed by his Internal Medicine training at Rhode Island Hospital. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the Medical Center of Vermont. He joined Cardiology Associates in 1991 as the first to be fellowship trained in coronary intervention. He worked with Dr. Edward Wright and Dr. Robert Parkes to establish Ellis Hospital’s Intervention program.
In addition to his training in Coronary Intervention, Dr. Jordan was the first member of Cardiology Associates to have training in Nuclear Cardiology. He was the first cardiologist to interpret nuclear medicine studies at Ellis Hospital before a program was created in their offices.
Dr. Jordan demonstrates superlative clinical judgement and expertise whether he is evaluating an office patient, working in the catheterization laboratory or interpreting a nuclear study.
